Been having a lil' trouble combining images, so I'ma just throw up some comic/poem that I wrote back in the dim, dead days of 2001. This is what happens...
I was surprised by being a lil' upset by Michael Jackson's demise. I mean, I love the man's music and make no bones about that. He was probably my first "favorite" musician way back in the day, and I was ever so in love with the Thriller video, you don't even know. I played the Thriller record about six thousand times back in '82, and did the same with "Bad" when that happened. I guess you don't shake off that kinda conditioning very easily.
True fact: I tried, when I was six or seven, to get my mom to have my middle name changed to "Jackson". For real.
